An absolutely top-of-the-line 1" threaded headset for the most discerning rider. It features oversized, sealed cartridge bearings, so packing and re-greasing bearings are a thing of the past.

We all love the classic look of chrome-plated headsets, but we also want the low weight of a modern alloy. Velo Orange has combined both and refined the aluminum headset with a high-quality chrome plating. This improves durability and of course also achieves the wonderful, elegant finish.

The goal was to design a top- of - the - line 1" threaded headset at a reasonable price. It took a few attempts but the result is impressive: oversized sealed bearings; top alloy; discreet logo; easily replaceable bearings without a pressing tool ; rubber seal on the lock nut. We believe that this headset is of equal quality to others that cost two or even several times more.
