Sam&Saar are very special bikes. Reduced to the bare essentials, inspired by a track bike from the 1930s (Pathracer), but adapted to the city. Sam&Saar bikes have a SRAM dual gear system. This Automatix is not operated manually, but automatically shifts to a higher gear when the speed is sufficient. No unnecessary cables and very practical to use.
Or would you still prefer more gears? No problem! Sam&Saar bikes can also be optionally equipped with a Sturmey Archer Torpedo three-speed and Sturmey Archer three- or five-speed hub gear with drum brakes. These are operated using a shift lever on the stem.
The handcrafted frames allow for a sporty sitting position and the Mixte frame gives Saar a beautiful look!
Would you prefer a bike with more luxury without losing its unique look? Then you can opt for the Deluxe version instead of the Naked version. This version has all the extras: a single-legged stand, mudguards, luxury pedals with leather pedal hooks and an exclusive painted chain case.
Using a unique process, the chain case is painted in the color of the bike. This way, you still have a closed chain guard in a subtle way.
