Like every 8bar model, FHAIN refers to a district in Berlin. It is an abbreviation for Friedrichshain. In terms of club culture, Friedrichshain is currently at the top - and has the highest density of clubs in the city.

With the increased tire clearance, the FHAIN V4 can now accommodate tires up to 32C without and 28C with mudguards. This gives you more comfort but has no impact on rolling resistance.
