Achielle - Oscar Ltd1946

THE YEAR IS 1946. ACHIEL OOSTERLINCK DECIDES TO CONTINUE THE TRADE HE LEARNED FROM A LOCAL BICYCLE DEALER BEFORE THE WAR. HE STARTS REPAIRING BICYCLES IN A SMALL SHED BEHIND HIS APARTMENT.

Over the next few years, this evolved into a bicycle shop and eventually became a bicycle frame manufacturer.

Now, 75 years later, we have developed into the bicycle manufacturer Achielle, named after grandfather Achiel. And we are celebrating this anniversary!
To celebrate our 75th anniversary, we are producing an Oscar Limited Edition.
Only 46 of them are produced (see initial year 1946).

Oscar Ltd1946 is a work of art that you can drive on.
Achiel Oosterlinck's company has undergone several transformations over the years. This Oscar bike will do the same. As the bike is used, the beautiful copper-plated frame will slowly patinate. This way, each of these 46 bikes will have a unique look.

When building the Oscar Ltd1946 we use only the best parts with the hand-crafted frame. Brooks equips this bike with a unique Cambium saddle and matching handlebar grips with copper accents.
The unique Gates belt has been dyed a natural color for this bike. The bike is equipped with a Shimano gear system.
This bike also features lights integrated into the seat post and handlebars (Lightskin). This Oscar bike is also equipped with parts from Velo Orange, Panaracer, Knog, Sapim, Ryde, Thun and VP.
Each of these bikes has a hand-stamped number.
